91% of users just dont get the Google Wave

Following a recent post about older men using Google wave  we went about trying to know a bit more about the kind of people who use the Google Wave. So an email was sent out to 317 Google Wave users asking them a simple question. You have been using the Google wave for at least a few days, do you get it?


The respondents were asked to respond to a single question

You have been using the Google wave for at least a few days. Do you really get it?

Respond with a number  between 1 to 5, where 5 means I get it completely and 1 means, I just don't get it.

There were 113 responses from the 317 respondents cam back with a reply. Most of the uses of Google Wave just dont get it. The distribution of responses is shown below.

Is the Google Wave going the Twitter wave. It seems that the Google Wave is facing an on boarding challenge similar to the one faced by Twitter
